it would be interesting to see the reaction to a cashier, who because of personal conviction, refused to sell pork products or goods made by workers who are not equably treated.
I may be reading it wrong, but it sounds to me like wal-mart is trying, misguided as the attempt might be, to protect the rights of these specific employees to refuse to act outside their convictions. I don't see how the objecting pharmacist is supposed to 'find another professional' to fill the prescription. I wonder if there's a more general wal-mart policy hiding in this story someplace.
